Session Booking Agreement
Version 1.0 · This is the agreement you'll acknowledge when booking a session online. Read it ahead of time so there are no surprises.
1. Services & Pricing
The specific service, pricing, date, and time will be confirmed during the booking process. All current pricing is listed on the Services page. The Producer reserves the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice.
2. Deposit & Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session. For services totaling under $500, the deposit is $100. For services totaling $500 or more, the deposit is 50% of the session total. This deposit is applied toward your session total if you arrive on time. There is a 15-minute grace period. If you arrive after that window, the deposit is forfeited as a non-refundable additional fee, and any session time used will be billed separately.
The remaining balance is due at the time of the session or upon completion of the agreed-upon services, whichever comes first.
3. Cancellation
If you cancel your session for any reason, the deposit is non-refundable. We set aside studio time for you and turn away other bookings. The deposit compensates for that.
4. Rescheduling
- First reschedule with sufficient notice: Free. Your deposit carries to the new date. Notice requirement is 48 hours for services under $500, or 72 hours for services $500 and above.
- First reschedule without sufficient notice: Deposit forfeited. A new booking with a new deposit is required.
- Second or subsequent reschedules: New booking and new deposit required, regardless of notice.
- Studio-initiated reschedule: Your deposit carries to the new date, or you can request a full refund.
5. Ownership of Recordings
All recordings, mixes, and masters produced during sessions remain the property of the Producer until full payment is received. Upon full payment, ownership transfers to the Artist unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate the working relationship with written notice.
- If the Producer terminates: A refund will be issued for any unperformed work, minus the value of work already completed.
- If the Artist terminates: The Artist is responsible for paying for all work performed up to the termination date.
Intellectual property rights, publishing rights, and credit obligations survive termination.
7. Dispute Resolution
Both parties agree to attempt to resolve any disputes in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration under AAA rules. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
8. Severability
If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
When you book a session online, you'll be asked to type your full name and check a box confirming you've read and agree to these terms. A copy of the acknowledged agreement is emailed to you with your booking confirmation.
